Heinz Black Kitchen Initiative - Social Project (2023)

For this project I got to team up with the Heinz team at Wieden + Kennedy. The task at hand was to create content surrounding the wrap party for Heinz Black Kitchen Series. I was tasked with capturing photos of the event and directing them for social media use on Instagram. This work aimed to share and celebrate many of the great things happening in the Black culinary world and topics being discussed on the Innovators podcast. Heinz collaborated with the LEE Initiative, Southern Restaurants for Racial Justice (SRRJ), and numerous Black-owned restaurants throughout the country. The focus of the podcast was to highlight Black-owned restaurants across the country and how Black cuisine, Black culture, and Black businesses have created legacies and have made their mark on the best parts of America. This initiative by Heinz connected Black restaurant owners to tangible resources that support the longevity and health of their businesses.
